4: οσα γαρ προεγραφη εις την ημετεραν διδασκαλιαν προεγραφη ινα δια της υπομονης και της παρακλησεως των γραφων την ελπιδα εχωμεν
4: For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for
our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the
scriptures might have hope.
4: For what things soever were written were written for our learning:
that, through patience and the comfort of the scriptures, we might have
