2: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me
free from the law of sin and death.
2: For the law of the spirit of life, in Christ Jesus, hath delivered
me from the law of sin and of death.
Eternal security or not? One of the biggest splits in Theology with Christianity, in my opinion. I am Roman Catholic. So we do not adhere to eternal security. But I think with that said, being in a spirit and grace filled state should not leave you with the feeling that you are walking on a greasy beam. That you should be filled with fear about damnnation. But I think there is more danger if eternal security is false than if it it true. If it is false, then many think they are on their way to heaven. Yet there are not. I have already read volumes on this subject. In my own personal walk. I know that when Jesus is my center, and that the Holy Spirit has total control over my actions, and I am attentive to the promptings of the Spirit, that there is no law needed. I do not need to be reminded that cheating on my wife is a sin if I truly Love her. If I truly Love God and want the Sprit filled life to be my goal, then I don't have to be checking the rule book. The make of the rule book lives in me and guides me constantly. That is what I get from the last 2 verses.
