Sibbechai

Captain under David who came from the town of Shushan, near Ephrath-Bethlehem. He distinguished himself by overcoming a Philistine giant (2 Sam 21:18; 1Chr 20:4). He is mentioned also in 1Chr 11:29, xxvii. 11, as one of the thirty valiant followers of David. He may be the Mebunnai of 2 Sam 23:27.
