From BibleWiki
Who are you? I'm Josh, from Australia. You seem to be very active, as I was the other night when I added about 60+ person infoboxes. I got from Adam to Jacob. (about 1/3 of the lineiage of Jesus) Just interested thats all, and I find red links irritating...--Josher 10:18, 2 May 2006 (BST)
I keep changing {{male person}} into {{male}} because {{male person}} contains [[category:bible person]] but that should not appear for people with person infobox, because that creates [[category:biblical charecter]].--Josher 03:00, 9 May 2006 (BST)

Mt 24:37 - Noe/Noah
What edition of the KJV are you using for this wiki? Matthew 24:37 in my translation reads Noah...
see KJV SauliH 19:33, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm. The one source I use has to be different. Cheers. SauliH 23:14, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
Thank you
I appreciate the advice, I am still new at this wiki thing, I do enjoy it though. I have been a student of the Bible for some time now and it is my desire to help others to come to appreciate what it says. It seems that there should be a concordance within the text so that the reader can more easily refer to other instances in the writings where certain points are being made, or where symbolism is being applied. an example; the holder of the key to the bottomless pit is identified in Revelation 20 as the one who will bind satan for a thousand years. This "Jailer" would not be giving the key to the one being jailed so the angel in Revelation 9 who is loosing Locusts from out of nowhere (the abyss) is almost certainly the same angel who holds the key in Revelation 20.Then concord the description of the locust with the description of Gods people in Joel and the other places where they are symbolically described, Ephesians, 1&2 Corinthians etc. and the reader/ researcher will have opportunity to glean more knowledge than if they were to rely on what is written in the introduction alone. Tmtm can you help me? I cannot figure out how to have a search for Jehovah direct to the merged page I just made. --Ice9Tea 01:43, 11 May 2007 (BST)
complementary
Great job! I started the same project on MediaWiki in 2005, but wanted various versions + various languages in sync and with translation tool (so that people can leave comments in their mother tongue and broadcast in other languages) and didn't find a way to make it work (and wanted to start as a team, not alone once again ;) ). My project was also more oriented to gather inspired comments: what people discovered by themselves, or received from the Lord during meditation (of course with presence of scholar material). It's turning more to a blog now. Sounds less 'neutral' and scholar, but was oriented for people to share and discuss around the bible. May be a joint is possible between your wiki (neutral and scholar) and this project? Can you add other versions, languages and translation (so edition in one language can be verified and added to another language) ?? If it sounds interesting to you and think of a way to do it (internaly or externaly, by yourself or with others), let me know! Phil PS: I'm also interested to know the position of the guy from jewishEncyclopedia (it's supposed to be public domain right?). Pages vanished on your site at fast pace. Are external links possible to them?? Pm 14:14, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Ezekiel & airplanes
Hello TmTm, you are the last editor of the Ezekiel article, so I am asking you this question: has anyone written down that Ezekiel's "angels with fixed wings" were in fact airplanes? I Googled this and all I found was references to The Ezekiel Air Ship Mfg Co who, apparently, flew an airplane in 1902 (one year before the Wrights'). The local museum includes an exhibit of the Rev. Cannon's Bible, open to the first chapter of Ezekiel [1]. In comparison, discussions about Ezekiel & UFO abound. Is there more about this? Emmanuelm 13:54, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
Greek verses
Hi. I'm one of the users of WikiChristian. I think you've done a great job setting up this website with all the Bible verses uploaded and links in them. Well done! I'm in the process of uploading the Bible verse by verse. I've been looking for a unicode non-accented version in Greek but I've been unable to find anything except at this website. Is there any chance I'd be able to get a copy of your unicode Greek Bible as text files? --Graham grove 09:01, 12 July 2008 (CDT)
